I had an eye emergency and was very concerned and emotional about it. After spending 3.5 hours in emergency on a Saturday afternoon (they took very good care of me and am going to leave a great review for them too), I was given an appointment to see Dr. Calotti on Monday at 10 am. The next day was Sunday and Dr. Calotti called me to see how I was. I wasn't doing too well, and he immediately arranged for me to go into the clinic and see his optometrist. Talk about customer service, that totally helped me with the anxiety I was feeling - thank you Rachel. After a thorough exam, I was told that my retina had torn but was not detaching. That was a huge relief for me. I went back the next day, and had laser surgery to repair the tear. Dr. Calotti was so professional and explained all of the procedure, told me during the procedure how much more time I had to endure it and then told me that I did a great job! We are so fortunate to have such an amazing, skilled and conscientious doctor in Brantford. I could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you to the whole team for the personal impact that you make. I observed staff on the phone talking to people, greeting others with a smile and quick efficient service for the people waiting. I cannot thank you enough for the GREAT CARE you gave me. It was my pleasure to leave this review and if I have another eye issue, I will be sure to see Dr. Calotti for it. Thank you!!!

I visited Great Lakes Eye Centre twice this year for minor eye surgeries to remove chalazions on my eyes. Dr. Calotti and his entire team, particularly Aisha and Erika, were very attentive, supportive, and made me feel like family. Dr. Calotti's bedside manner is also excellent, which helped relieve a lot of my stress about the procedure. Great experience, highly recommend!
